Wedding and Events Sales Manager

Manor Hill House is a stunning contemporary property nestling in beautiful North Worcestershire countryside, ideal for exclusive use weddings, private events and conferences.

As Weddings and Events Sales Manager you will have overall responsibility for all sales and marketing activity at Manor Hill House. This will include show rounds to both private and corporate clients, managing the website, digital marketing, advertising and database. There will also be a requirement to act as host for some events.

The post is for 40 hours per week [with considerable flexibility as to when these are worked] but due to the nature of the business and the need for client show rounds these hours will include some evenings and Sundays.

You need to have excellent communication skills, be a good team player and have a passion for sales. Experience within hospitality is beneficial but not essential. Your most important quality is to always be able to deliver service with a smile and put the customer first in everything that you do - creating a customer focussed approach within the business.

Own transport is essential.

Hospitality & Marketing Assistant

Salary: £5.80 - £7.50/hour depending on age and experience.

Apprenticeship can be available.

Manor Hill House is a stunning contemporary property nestling in beautiful North Worcestershire countryside, ideal for exclusive use weddings, private events and conferences.
As Hospitality & Marketing Assistant you will gain experience in all aspects of the Manor Hill House events business assisting the Wedding & Events Sales Manager, the Wedding and Events Coordinator and the events delivery team. Work will be both in the office and front of house.
You will

  • be involved with show rounds of clients and prepare their events.
  • help with administrative tasks from answering the phone, replying to e mail enquiries and making entries on social media.
  • set up events having particular attention to the 'Finishing Touch' details.
  • help run events and work with the team where ever reasonably required, from simple food preparation, waiting at the tables or working behind the bar, assisting with house keeping and the laundry.

The post is for a minimum of 40 hours/week but due to the nature of the business some of these hours will include evenings and weekend days. You need to have good communication skills and be a good team player but no previous experience in hospitality is required. Your most important quality is to always be able to deliver service with a smile and put the customer first in everything that you do to help create a customer focussed approach within the business. House Keeping & Hosting Assistant

Salary: £6.50 - £8.50/hour depending on age and experience.

Manor Hill House is a stunning contemporary property nestling in beautiful North Worcestershire countryside, ideal for exclusive use weddings, private events and conferences.

As House Keeping & Hosting Assistant you will be

  • involved in all aspects of house keeping from room cleaning to laundry
  • laying up of reception rooms for dining, ceremonies or meetings
  • hosting small events such as conferences and bridal luncheons
  • preparing light snacks for guests
  • helping with preparation and delivery of breakfasts when the property is open for B & B
  • on wedding days helping the bridal party prepare for their special day in whatever way will give them greatest support.


The two part time posts for 20-30 hours/week will have flexible shifts but will be spread over weekends as well as weekdays. Most weeks there will be a requirement to work 6-8 hours on a weekend day.

You need to have good communication skills and be a good team player with previous experience in some areas of this job. Your most important quality is to always be able to deliver service with a smile and put the customer first in everything that you do, to help create a customer focussed approach within the business.
